We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to serve you:

• Details you give us through our enquiry, booking, quotation, and checkout forms: your name, email address, phone number, delivery or site address, and the message or order details you provide.
• Order information when you buy from the shop: the items ordered, the amount, your delivery address, and the payment status.
• Technical information needed to run the site securely: a small amount of data such as a one-way hashed record of your network address, kept briefly to prevent abuse of our forms.
• Cookies: a session cookie that keeps the site working while you browse, and a cart cookie that remembers the items in your basket. See "Cookies" below.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for more than the above.

• To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To confirm and schedule field visits.
• To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, including arranging delivery.
• To take payment for orders through M-Pesa.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Payments

Payments are made through Safaricom M-Pesa. When you pay, the information needed to complete the transaction (such as your phone number and the amount) is shared with Safaricom to process the payment. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN, and we never ask for it.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is needed to serve you:

• With our delivery team or courier, to deliver your order.
• With Safaricom, to process M-Pesa payments.
• With trusted service providers that help us run the website and business, under confidentiality.
• Where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep order and enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then we delete or anonymise them. [To confirm: your standard retention period, for example order records kept for 7 years for tax, enquiries for 24 months.]

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie that keeps your visit and any form security working, and a cart cookie that remembers your basket between pages. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and checkout may not work fully without them.
